A Cry for Mercy: O Messenger of Allah

پڑی سر پر بڑی مشکل،    دہائی یارسول اللہ

خدارا کیجیے   مشکل کشائی یارسول اللہ

تمہارےآستانِ فیض تک اب ہم غریبوں کی

کٹھن ہوتی چلی جائے     رسائی یارسول اللہ

دلِ پژ مردہ بحرِ غم  میں ڈوبا جائے ہے آقا

بڑی شدت سے نیّا       ڈگمگائی یارسول اللہ

سنبھالا دیجیے اس ناتواں کو          داورِ عالم

بِچارے نے تمہی سے لو    لگائی یارسول اللہ

بڑا عاصی، گنہگارِ مجسم         بے عمل لیکن

فدائی آپ کا ہے یہ فدائی       یارسول اللہ

فقیرِ عشق کو چوکھٹ پہ آنے دیجیے      شاہا

پلٹ دیجے کہ جو آفت ہے آئی  یارسول اللہ

مدینے مر کے جینے کی تمنا ہے دلی  ا س کی

عطا قدموں میں ہووقتِ قضائی   یارسول اللہ

A Cry for Mercy: O Messenger of Allah 

A great hardship has fallen upon me—my cry is, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
For the sake of Allah, please grant me relief from my difficulties, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

The path to your blessed court of grace has become increasingly difficult
For us poor and needy souls, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

My withered heart is drowning in an ocean of sorrow, O Master;
My fragile boat is being tossed violently by the raging waves, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Support this weak and helpless servant, O Sovereign of the worlds;
For he has devoted his heart solely to you, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Though he is a great sinner, the very embodiment of sin, and lacking in good deeds,

He remains your devoted admirer and lover, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Allow this humble beggar of your love to stand at your blessed doorstep, O King;
Turn away the calamity that has befallen him, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

His heart longs to live and die in Madinah;

Grant that, at the time of his passing, he may rest at your blessed feet, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
