Venezuela Devastated by Powerful Earthquakes: Thousands Dead and Missing

قدرت کی ایک اور ہولناک آزمائش!

دو دن پہلے وینزویلا میں 7.2 اور 7.5 شدت کے دو طاقتور زلزلوں نے ہر طرف تباہی مچا دی۔ چند لمحوں میں آباد بستیاں ملبے کے ڈھیروں میں تبدیل ہو گئیں، ہزاروں خاندان بے گھر ہو گئے اور لاکھوں افراد کی زندگیاں شدید متاثر ہوئیں۔ اب تک موصول ہونے والی رپورٹس کے مطابق: 🔹 1,400 سے زائد افراد جاں بحق ہو چکے ہیں۔ 🔹 کئی ہزار افراد زخمی ہیں۔ 🔹 تقریباً 51,000 افراد تاحال لاپتہ ہیں۔ 🔹 3,000 سے زائد خاندان اپنے گھروں سے محروم ہو چکے ہیں۔ 🔹 مختلف ذرائع کے مطابق تقریباً 70 لاکھ افراد اس تباہ کن زلزلے سے متاثر ہوئے ہیں۔ ریسکیو ٹیمیں مسلسل ملبہ ہٹانے میں مصروف ہیں، لیکن وقت گزرنے کے ساتھ زندہ بچ جانے والوں کی امیدیں بھی کم ہوتی جا رہی ہیں۔ ہزاروں بچے، خواتین اور بزرگ کھلے آسمان تلے امداد کے منتظر ہیں۔ کیا آپ جانتے ہیں؟ دنیا کی تاریخ کا سب سے ہولناک اور جان لیوا زلزلہ 23 جنوری 1556ء کو چین کے صوبہ شانشی (Shaanxi) میں آیا تھا۔ تاریخ کے مطابق اس زلزلے میں تقریباً 8 لاکھ 30 ہزار افراد جان کی بازی ہار گئے تھے، اور یہی زلزلہ آج بھی انسانی تاریخ کا سب سے تباہ کن زلزلہ مانا جاتا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ: ▪️ 2004ء میں بحرِ ہند کے زلزلے اور سونامی نے 14 سے زائد ممالک کو متاثر کیا اور تقریباً 2 لاکھ 30 ہزار افراد جاں بحق ہوئے۔ ▪️ 2010ء میں ہیٹی کا زلزلہ بھی جدید تاریخ کی بدترین آفات میں شمار ہوتا ہے، جس میں لاکھوں افراد متاثر ہوئے۔ یہ سانحات ہمیں یاد دلاتے ہیں کہ انسان کتنی ہی ترقی کیوں نہ کر لے، اللہ تعالیٰ کی قدرت کے سامنے بے بس ہے۔ چند لمحوں میں زمین کا ایک جھٹکا پوری دنیا کی طاقت، دولت اور غرور کو مٹا سکتا ہے۔ آئیے! ہم متاثرین کے لیے دل سے دعا کریں

   : اے اللہ! جاں بحق ہونے والوں کی مغفرت فرما، زخمیوں کو کامل شفا عطا فرما، لاپتہ افراد کو خیریت کے ساتھ ان کے اہلِ خانہ سے ملا دے، بے گھر خاندانوں کے لیے آسانیاں پیدا فرما، اور پوری انسانیت کو اپنی حفظ و امان میں رکھے آمین یا رب العالمین

Another Devastating Test of Nature!

Two days ago, Venezuela was struck by two powerful earthquakes measuring 7.2 and 7.5 on the Richter scale. Within moments, thriving communities were reduced to rubble, thousands of families lost their homes, and millions of lives were affected by this devastating disaster

According to the reports received so far:

🔹 More than 1,400 people have been confirmed dead.

🔹 Thousands of people have been injured.

🔹 Around 51,000 people are still missing.

🔹 More than 3,000 families have lost their homes.

🔹 According to various news sources, nearly 7 million people have been affected by this catastrophic earthquake.

Rescue teams continue to search through the debris, but with every passing hour, the hope of finding more survivors grows weaker. Thousands of children, women, and elderly people remain without shelter, waiting for food, water, and emergency assistance.

Did You Know?

The deadliest earthquake in recorded history occurred on January 23, 1556, in Shaanxi Province, China. Historical records estimate that nearly 830,000 people lost their lives, making it the most catastrophic earthquake ever recorded.

Other major earthquakes in history include:

▪️ The 2004 Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami, which affected more than 14 countries and claimed approximately 230,000 lives.

▪️ The 2010 Haiti Earthquake, one of the worst natural disasters in modern history, leaving hundreds of thousands dead and millions affected.

These tragic events remind us that no matter how advanced humanity becomes, we remain powerless before the forces of nature created by Almighty Allah. In just a few moments, a single earthquake can destroy cities, erase wealth, and change countless lives forever.

Let us all pray for the victims:

O Allah, forgive those who have passed away, grant complete healing to the injured, reunite the missing with their families, provide relief to those who have lost their homes, and protect all of humanity from every calamity. Ameen.
